The Welfare for Adults committee was formed to look after the welfare of our senior committee members and to organize events for them plus provide facilities where they can interact with each other, make friends and enjoy their twilight years.

The Committee is currently in the process of converting the Old Library (the one situated at the Mahajanwadi) into a Senior Citizens Lounge. Architects have been taken to the site and  we shall soon have their proposals on making a very comfortable meeting place for our Senior Citizens.

The Lounge will include a Television & DVD player, have a small library & reading section, tea facilities and some games for the seniors. There will be regular programmes & trainings specially designed for Senior Citizens.

The lounge should be set up before the end of the year provided all relevant approvals come in time.

PROGRAMMES FOR SENIOR CITIZENS,

The programmes will begin from October . July and August is the wedding season and and in September there is Paryushan. In November and December a field trip or outing will be organized.
